Biographic Sketch
Sheryl is a passionate, highly energized speaker who enhances and nurtures audiences toward growth and development as individuals, couples and families. She displays the same passion in her own family. In 1976, she married with only two more years to complete her college education. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree, and desired to further her education. Instead, she sacrificed her career while her husband completed his undergraduate and graduate studies. She remembered the words of her wise grandmother, “Never allow your education to become more important than your relationships.” Her belief in her grandmother’s wisdom extended to the home schooling of her three young children. Her educational dreams became secondary until her youngest daughter’s senior year in college. Sheryl entered graduate school, earned a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, and presently pursues a Doctorate in Marriage & Family Therapy.
Sheryl is a therapist and motivational speaker, and has traveled and spoken in several states: Virginia, Alabama, Kentucky, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Washington, D.C. and New Jersey. Her encouraging words motivate countless singles, couples and families, whether distressed or only needing relational enhancement to reach optimum, healthy relationships. Sheryl advocates the health of a relationship is an extension of a healthy, authentic self. Two of her greatest releases are her four part series, “Healing Our Emotional Chain;” and two part series, “Treasuring the Soul Within/Outside of You.” In 2003, she authored the book, “Glimpses of the Cup, the Crowd, the Cross, and the Crown” illustrating tough times may be transformed into our greatest triumph.
